Resica is a brand identity project focused on package design. The company Resica is an iced tea company that comes in four different flavors and lies in the everyday lifestyle realm when it comes to food and drinks. Imagined to be sold in grocery stores like Trader Joe's or Whole Foods, Resica focuses on a refreshing and flavorful taste with a soft and peaceful appearance.
This project utilized designing in many Adobe platforms, such as Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
The project began with ideation through a mood board (image 1), which captured a look, tone, and feel that I was trying to achieve through my brand. As more of the ideation process continued, I was able to begin creating a kit of parts for my brand, which evolved alongside the project. The kit of parts is a single layout that includes key assets to the brand identity, such as typography, color palette, patterning, and more (image 2). Some components of the kit of parts were added in as they were created, such as the final logo for Resica (image 3).

The packaging line of Resica consisted of three products, the main product being the teas, the secondary product being water flavor packets, and the third being a branded drink carrier for the teas to be sold in sets of 4 (image 4).  Four different flavors make up Resica, those being mint, lemon, mango, and peach. Flavors are differentiated through label colors on the glass bottles and by unique flavor names (image 5).
The water flavor packets utilized the same brand components of the tea bottles, but with a slightly different approach. The design system was maintained through color and patterning, but the use of the pattern being unique to the skinny package and the logo adjusted for stronger scale and readability (image 6).

Print and stationary materials were also created to further Resica's brand. An annual report (image 7) displays ways the typography can have levels of hierarchy, while the photographic style provokes a certain mood and tone. The logo is also being integrated into the cover in a unique way to strengthen the brand's presence.
Stationary materials such as a letterhead, business envelope, business card, and stickers were all designed for more business-oriented assets to the brand (image 8). The main goal was to further spread the design system in creative ways to key components a brand would have.

Additional collateral such as a water bottle and coasters (image 9) and a yoga mat (image 10) added more experience thinking to Resica, as these products were designed in mind for the ideal target market of Resica. Resica is a brand with the tagline "Inhale peace, exhale happiness," which creates the image of a calm, healthy, and happy life. The additional collateral aimed to paint that picture and further the brand story.
